Robinson Lake may not be the centre of the world, but when you draw
a line from the north end to the south end of Vancouver Island, it comes
pretty close to sitting right at the centre of that line.
Black
Creek, an unincorporated rural community with a population of 933, is
strategically located approximately midway between the towns of Courtenay
and Campbell River on central Vancouver Island.

Robinson Lake has an eclectic mix of residents, including young families,
retirees, artisans, consultants, office and medical professionals, woodworkers,
farm workers, truckers and those involved in other resource industries.
Access
to Robinson Lake is via either Highway 19 or Highway 19A, utilizing
the Miracle Beach (Hamm Road) connector to MacAulay Road, and from there
to Martin Park Drive which rings the lake.
The maps
on this page will assist you in locating Robinson Lake, one of the best
