ROBINSON LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
The Robinson
Lake Property Owners Association is a registered society of lake property
owners whose responsibility it is to ensure the ongoing maintenance
and safety of our lake community. The officers include President, Vice-President
and Secretary/Treasurer. In addition, 6 directors serve 1 and 2 year
terms.
Volunteers
also serve various functions, including:
- Fire Liason Officer
- Environmental Committee
- Social Events Committee
- Water Testing
- General Maintenance
- Trout Stocking
- Annual Garage Sale
The residents of Robinson Lake work together for the betterment of our
community. Association members are involved in Neighbourhood Watch and
have an excellent e-mail communications network to keep residents updated
on items of local interest. Lake residents enjoy lower home insurance
rates due to a community effort to install fire hydrants. A recent garden
exchange amongst lake residents was a huge success, and you can find a
Classifieds section on this website.
Several
social events are planned throughout the year, and are open to all association
members. The Robinson Lake Annual Garage Sale has become a popular event,
as has the September corn roast. Residents participate in varied events,
ranging from picnics, regattas, water sports, mini golf tournies and
more.
The annual
membership fee is currently a very reasonable $100, and that also provides
automatic coverage for liability relating to accident or injury occurring
on the lake or other association-owned properties (accesses or Martin
Park). There is an expectation of membership in the Association upon
becoming a lakeside property owner.
The Association by-laws, environmental, fishing and access guidelines
are all available through the appropriate links at the top of this page.
Meeting Minutes and contact information for Officers and Directors of
the Association may be found in the Members' section - (log in above).
